The COFDM Video Receiver is a stand alone rugged unit capable of receiving video in a range of frequency bands.

In addition to the two diversity video receive antennas  there is a third antenna that is dedicated to the UHF telemetry channel. The telemetry channel is typically used as a control path for PTZ cameras.

It offers excellent RF performance in both the video and telemetry paths, with a very low sensitivity figure down to -120dBm for the video receiver. This can be subject to variations in performance due to environmental effects, frequency band and mode of operation. The UHF telemetry path typically operates up to 1km non-line of sight.

Within the chosen RF band sixteen separate user specified receive channels can be pre-programmed. These are configured by a PC software application, which connects to the unit via the control cable. There is a separate D-Type connector which is used for the telemetry data path. The power connection is also integrated into the interface cable.

The video is output is on a standard BNC connector, whilst RF connectors allow the antennas to be detached during storage.

The unit has a very rugged build and is suitable for use outdoors and comes with an IP66 environmental rating.
