HD-IP - Rugged IP Camera

The HD-IP Camera couples a 1080p30 high sensitivity system on chip imager with a highly integrated ONVIF compliant dual H.264/MJPEG IP encoder.

These, together with the built-in microphone combine to produce a tightly integrated, low power HD-IP camera solution.

Visual Engineering has developed this core technology to deliver a configurable product to meet the needs of the professional surveillance market. The camera's rugged build also makes it highly suitable for use in heavy industry and high vibration environments.

Customers can tailor their requirements to fit the application through lens mount, recording, WiFi, PoE and connector configurable options.

The camera supports short & long pinholes and M12 lenses as standard. C and CS lens mounts are also made available using an adaptor.

Full camera control which includes video configuration, integrated trigger capabilities, WiFi and recording setup is all supported via a web page interface.

The recording option features secure micro-SD card storage. Access to the stored movie files can be either by physically removing the SD card, using the VE Camera Viewer software or an FTP transfer software tool.

With the inclusion of the WiFi option it allows the video stream to be viewed on any WiFi enabled device. WiFi Access Point and Station modes are supported.

Dependant on configuration, the unit can be powered either by 12V DC, or Class 0 PoE.

It is housed in a CNC machined aluminium case to produce a camera that is robust, reliable and suitable for professional use.
