Designed for tactical applications, the body-worn radio supports MeshUltra MANET waveforms to enable self-healing mesh networks of up to 144 nodes. RF output power is provided up to 200 mW or 400 mW depending on the selected frequency band, with optional AES-128 or AES-256 encryption available for secure communications.

The device offers three USB host ports and a USB peripheral port for charging and control, allowing connection of peripherals such as cellular and Wi-Fi dongles, H.264 cameras, GPS modules, audio headsets, Ethernet adapters, and a field control module.

RNDIS support enables Ethernet over USB. A removable rechargeable battery powers the unit, which is housed in an IP67-rated enclosure for operation in harsh environments.
